Passersby in Kamloops caught a glimpse of a major television production being filmed in the Tournament Capital today.
The Amazing Race Canada was being filmed in downtown Kamloops at Riverside Park. The filming is apparently for the first leg of the upcoming season, from Toronto to Kamloops; sources also caught filming of the show taking place yesterday in Toronto.
The reality competition has aired six seasons in Canada, and season seven will be airing this summer. In the United States, The Amazing Race debuted in 2001 and to date has had 31 seasons.
