Kamloops Blazers forward Connor Zary has been named the WHL Player of the Month for September and October 2019.
He led the league in scoring over the first two calendar months with 21 points – five goals and 16 assists. Zary also had a league best 13-game point streak to begin the season.
The Saskatoon native had six multi-point games, as he helped the Blazers to a 9-5-0-0 record, good for first in the B.C. Division.
Earlier this month, Zary was named to Team WHL’s roster for the 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series. He was also named ‘B’-rated prospect by NHL Central Scouting for the 2020 NHL Draft.
