
Another record year at Kamloops Airport in 2019.
The airport processed 361,586 passengers last year, a 2.75 per cent increase from the 351,631 passengers in 2018.
“Although passenger numbers declined in the 3rd and 4th quarters as projected , the year ended strong with 34,884 passengers being served in the month of December,” said Airport Managing Director Ed Ratuski.
“Our partners at Central Mountain Air, WestJet, and Air Canada all contributed significantly to the continued growth and w e look forward to continued growth in 2020.”
He’s expecting 2020 to be another strong year, anticipating the return of the Air Canada Rouge flight to Toronto in the summer, as well as a new direct Swoop flight from Kamloops to Edmonton.
