Add Cineplex movie theatres to the list of closures in Canada because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The movie theatre chain is closing all 165 theatres nationwide until at least April 2/ That includes the Kamloops location at Aberdeen Mall.
“All bookings will be cancelled for a full refund, including private theatre bookings, individual and group reservations at The Rec Room and Playdium, as well as guests with advanced tickets to see a movie in our of our theatres,” said Ellis Jacob, President and CEO of Cineplex, in a statement.
The move comes as a number of movie releases including No Time to Die, Mulan, Fast and Furious 9, and A Quiet Place Part 2 have all been pushed back because of the coronavirus.
