Canada West, through USports, is expected to announce tomorrow the cancellation of sports for the fall semester.

The league includes TRU Wolfpack sports teams, and it’s expected to announce that no university sports will happen until at least 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

An official announcement is expected at 10 a.m. on Monday morning. The Ontario and Atlantic conference are expected to follow suit as well, with cancelling sports for the fall.

Wolfpack athletic director Curtis Atkinson will be on Radio NL tomorrow to comment during the Jeff Andreas Show, between noon and 1 p.m.
