Three Kamloops Blazers will be playing Junior A hockey until Dec. 20 awaiting the start of the WHL season.
Brodi Stuart will suit up for the Merritt Centennials, Tyler Carpendale will spend time with the Vernon Vipers both with the British Columbia Hockey League, while Reese Belton will join Portage Terriers in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
Players were given the option to transfer to other leagues with the WHL not expected to get underway until Jan. 8, 2021, because of COVID-19.
WHL training camps are set to get underway after Christmas.
