An employee at the Domino’s Pizza in Valleyview has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now in self-isolation.

Domino’s Vice President of Marketing Jeff Kacmarek says the store at 1967 Trans-Canada Hwy East was temporarily closed for some time to allow for a through cleaning.

“The team member has not worked in the store in five days,” he said in an email. “The store followed all requirements set by the Interior Health Authority before re-opening to once again serve the community.”

Its unclear when the employee tested positive for COVID-19, but Kacmarek says the person is still self-isolating and will only return to the store when it is safe to do so.
