Kamloops RCMP are investigating after a ‘Sneaky Weasel’ made off with over $1,600 worth of the aptly named beer over the weekend.
Sgt. Darren Michels says police were called around 12:55 p.m. yesterday to after the theft in the 9000-block of Dallas Drive was reported to police.
“During the course of the investigation, we learned that a large commercial vehicle which contained alcohol was broken into sometime over the weekend and several cases of beer were stolen,” he said. “Missing from the vehicle were 66 cases of Sneaky Weasel beer with an estimated retail value of over $1,600.”
Michels says the investigation is ongoing and police are asking for help in identifying a suspect.
