The parent company of Independent Grocers is reporting that an employee at its Kamloops store at 700 Tranquille Road in the Northills Shopping Centre has tested positive for COVID-19.

Loblaws says the case was reported three days ago, on Friday, Jan. 8, noting the employee had last worked exactly one week ago, on Jan. 4.

However, at this time, further details about this case are not clear.

The BC Centre for Disease Control recommends is asking people to self-monitor for symptoms, while urging people to get tested if they start to experience symptoms.
