
Former three-year member of the Kamloops Blazers (2014-17) Connor Ingram has now been enrolled in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program as he battles addiction issues.
Ingram was with the NHL’s Nashville Predators at the timing of the program’s initiation. The former Tampa Bay Lightning NHL draft pick has been with the Predators organization the past two seasons. Recently he was sent on loan to a Swedish 2nd Division club while he awaited NHL training camps to open.
The 23 year-old native of Imperial, Sask. also represented Canada at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships.
It’s not known what type of addictions Ingram is battling at the moment. He’s presently in Los Angeles at a treatment facility.
