
An even 100 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kamloops local health area during the week of Feb. 28 to March 6.
That is down from 124 cases the week earlier, but was the region with the most COVID-19 cases last week across all of Interior Health. The Kamloops local health area includes the City of Kamloops as well as Barriere, Sun Peaks, Little Fort, Chase, Tobiano, Savona, and Logan Lake.
Last week, there were also five new cases in the Merritt local health area, one in the South Cariboo LHA and two in the Salmon Arm LHA. The Kelowna area had the second most cases in Interior Health last week at 66.
There were zero new cases last week in the North Thompson or 100 Mile House LHAs, respectively.
