Other local health areas around Kamloops saw fewer new cases last week, with the exception of Salmon Arm with 20 new cases (up from 13) and Armstrong-Spallumcheen with eight new cases (up from 2).
The Vernon area had 36 new cases, the Merritt area had three, while both the Cariboo/Chilcotin and 100 Mile House saw one case each, with zero cases in the North Thompson, South Cariboo, and Lillooet local health areas.
The majority of new cases in B.C. continues to be in the Lower Mainland, with several local health areas there recording more than 20 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people last week.
