Greg Moore, a former interim president and CEO of the Kamloops-based British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), has been named the new chair of the board.
The former mayor of Port Coquitlam begins a two year term on May 31, which will expire on October 31, 2023.
Moore was appointed by the B.C. government to the BCLC board of directors in 2018. In 2019, he resigned to take over as interim president and CEO before stepping down in January.
Lynda Cavanaugh is currently serving as the interim president and CEO as Jim Lightbody remains on medical leave to undergo cancer treatment and recovery.
Moore is replacing Peter Kappel, who joined the BCLC board as chair in May 2018. Kappel’s term comes to an end on May 31.
