The number of cases in the Kamloops Local Health Area continues to drop with just 12 new cases between the week of June 6 and June 12.
That is down from the 15 cases in the area which includes Kamloops, Sun Peaks, Chase, Barriere, Little Fort, Savona, Tobiano and Logan Lake, and the communities in between during the week of May 30 and June 5.
In all, there were 214 cases across Interior Health last week with the majority in the Kelowna area (which reported 100 new cases last week) and the Vernon area (which reported 38 cases).
Merritt saw nine new cases after zero the week prior. There were three cases in the South Cariboo and one in the Salmon Arm local health area.
There were no new cases in the Cariboo/Chilcotin, the North Thompson, 100 Mile House, and Lillooet area last week.
