The $35-million lottery ticket bought in Kamloops has been claimed.
BC Lottery Corporation says it will unveil the Lotto Max prize winner Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m., at its headquarters in Kamloops.
There were two people in Canada – in Kamloops and Toronto – that matched all seven numbers on the $70-million Lotto Max jackpot the night before. It was the largest win in Canadian history.
There were also 46 Maxmillion prize winners, worth $1 million each, with 21 winning tickets sold in Ontario, 11 in B.C., 10 in Quebec and four in the Prairie provinces.
One of those Maxmillion tickets was also bought in Kamloops.
