Kamloops RCMP are looking for witnesses after another robbery at a business in Lansdowne Village Shopping Centre this weekend.
Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says police were called around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11 after a woman took out a knife inside a store and demanded that staff put the cash register into her duffle bag.
She says the woman then left the unidentified store, met up with a person nearby, and the pair then walked west.
“The [cash register] was later located in a public washroom on the 300-block of Victoria Street, reported to, and seized by police,” Evelyn said.
On Monday afternoon, police released a photo of the pair. The suspect was wearing large beige snow boots, a dark jacket, and a grey toque, while her suspected accomplice was wearing a white mask, a toque, and dark jacket with the hood up.
If you recognize either person in the photo, or if you witnessed the robbery on Saturday, you’re asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2021-43164.
