Ride sharing options are set to be back on the table in Kamloops.
Ontario-based Uride has confirmed its going to be launching its services in Kamloops on June 3, with around 20 drivers.
Company officials had told NL News they planed to launch in March of this year.
Uride recently launched services in Kelowna as well.
Kamloops is currently only serviced by Kami and Yellow Cabs.
Kabu – another ride sharing company – launched in Kamloops in 2020, but failed to make any inroads, and has remained dormant.
However, that company has tentative plans to relaunch services sometime this summer.
