Interior Health says people who go to Royal Inland Hospital next week will have to use a new entrance with the Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Tower officially open.
The new main entrance and patient drop-off area is across from the Clinical Services Building parkade. People will be able to walk from Level P4 of the parkade and follow the sidewalk to access the new main entrance to RIH.
IH also says the new, permanent emergency entrance at the hospital will be located at the roundabout near the old coffee shop.
There is no longer any emergency parking near the ambulance bay. Short-term public parking for the emergency department is now located on the right side of the drive leading to the roundabout.
The health authority says there will be signs in place to help guide patients.
