Jamie Allen says his decision run as a councillor in Kamloops has been 35 years in the making.
Jamie was born and raised in Kamloops and currently works as a locksmith, a job he plans to keep if he were to be elected.
“I don’t come here as a politician. I come here as a citizen of Kamloops that wants to see us move in a different direction. And I think that’s what sets me apart.”
He wants to see citizens of Kamloops have access to services they need to address issues like drug addiction, mental health, and homelessness.
