Kamloops native Jo Kang is a graduate of the Kamloops-Thompson School District, seeking his first term on the school board.
The 24-year-old is hoping to bring a fresh and unique perspective to the School Board, and believes that young people are the future of the city, which starts with the school systems.
He hopes to create an environment where all students, teachers, support staff, and administrators are able to thrive and do amazing things.
