Reid Hamer-Jackson is taking a run at becoming the next mayor of Kamloops after having lived in the Tournament Capital since 1973.
Since 1994, Reid has owned Tru Market Truck and Auto Sales on West Victoria Street.
He has been outspoken on issues relating to those stuck on the city’s streets dealing with mental health and addictions issues and what he believes is a lack of resources available to help them.
