
Shea Van Olm scores to help Blazers to a 2-1 over Vancouver Friday/via Kamloops Blazers
The Kamloops Blazers got back on their winning ways on Friday night following a 2-1 win over the Vancouver Giants at the Sandman Center.
Kamloops was able to pull off the victory, despite not having a pair of top players in the lineup.
Forwards Logan Stankoven and Caedan Bankier are in Monton, New Brunswick for the Team Canada World Juniors selection camp.
Despite this, the Blazers were able to top Vancouver to move to 15-6-3-2 on the season.
The Blazers got goals from Shea Van Olm and Matthew Seminoff.
Ashton Tait recorded his first WHL point with an assist on Van Olm’s goal.

Dylan Ernst was solid in goal with 22 saves on the night.
Ernst is now near the top of the WHL in goaltender stats.

The Blazers continue their home-stand on Saturday night at the Sandman Center as they entertain the Victoria Royals at the annual Teddy Bear Toss game.
