Blazers captain Logan Stankoven and Caedan Bankier have returned to Kamloops after helping Canada earn gold at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Halifax.
The two arrived in Kamloops shortly after 8pm on Friday evening, a day after coming off a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory over Czechia to win the gold medal.

Stankoven would trail only Connor Bedard on Team Canada for points, notching 3 goals and adding 8 helpers in the seven games Canada played in Halifax and Moncton.
Bankier also made it on the score sheet, adding an assist and ending the tournament a plus-3 in his role on the 4th line to help Team Canada to victory.
Both Stankoven and Bankier are expected to be in the line-up on Saturday as Kamloops entertains the Kelowna Rockets at the Sandman Center.
Thanks to everyone who came out tonight! Appreciate all the support! https://t.co/6WgslVVra1
