The Kamloops Blazers beat the Western Conference leading Portland Winterhawks 5-1 on Wednesday, thanks in part to a pair of Dylans.
Dylan Sydor scored a pair of goals – including the game winner – while Dylan Ernst made a career-high 45 saves in front of a capacity crowd at Sandman Centre to stretch the Blazers lead atop the B.C. Division to 20 points.
Olen Zellweger, Matthew Seminoff, and Logan Stankoven also scored for Kamloops while Kyle Chyzowski had the lone Portland goal.

The Blazers started the game on the front foot, and were up 3-0 after 40 minutes of action with goals from Zellweger, Sydor, and Seminoff.
The Winterhawks began to grow into the game – particularly in the third period where they fired 26 of their 46 total shots – but only managed the one goal at 12:56 to give them a chance.
Sydor and Stankoven – who’s point streak is now at 30 games – put the game to bed late in the period.
