The Kamloops Blazers have signed goaltender Logan Edmonstone to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
In 23 regular season games with the Saskatoon Contacts of the Saskatchewan U18 AAA Hockey League, he’s put up a 16-6 record with a 2.51 goals against average, a .914 save percentage, and four shutouts.
Edmonstone also helped Team Saskatchewan to a Silver Medal at the Canada Winter Games in February.
“We would like to welcome Logan and his family to the Kamloops Blazers organization,” Blazers Head Coach and General Manager, Shaun Clouston, said. “Logan had a great performance at the Canada Winter Games and has also had a terrific season with the Saskatoon Contacts.”
“We look forward to being a part of his continued development over the coming years.”
The five-foot-eleven Saskatoon native was drafted by the Blazers in the eighth round of the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.
Edmonstone is the fourth 2007-born player to have signed a WHL Scholarship and Development agreement joining forwards Nathan Behm and Andrew Thomson along with defensemen Isa Guram.
