The Dallas Stars have signed Kamloops Blazers forward Matthew Seminoff to a three-year, NHL entry-level contract.
A sixth round pick of the Stars in the 2022 NHL Draft, Seminoff put up career highs in goals (31), assists (51), and points (81) this season.
The 19-year-old – who was named to the B.C. Division Second All-Star team Tuesday – also tied his career highs in power-play goals (6) and game winners (6) in the 2022-23 WHL season.
The Coquitlam native had an eight point night March 15 against the Victoria Royals – his first four-goal game and second WHL hat trick.
Seminoff is the fifth Blazer to sign an NHL contract this season – joining Fraser Minten, Ryan Hofer, Caedan Bankier, and Kyle Masters.
