RCMP and firefighters are investigating the latest in a string of suspicious fires within Kamloops city limits.
Kamloops Fire and Rescue made quick work of the blaze in the 100-block of West Seymour Street after they were called around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
Witnesses say the fire started on the ground and spread into the fence and trees. Mounties say no one was injured.
At this time, it is not clear if the fire is linked to a series of downtown dumpster fires on Monday night.
Other suspicious fires in recent weeks include four vehicles were set ablaze in the Aberdeen/Knutsford area on Saturday morning, a case of arson outside North Shore Canadian Tire in late April, and a series of grass fires on both sides of the river earlier last month.
Mounties say people with information or video of this fence fire should call the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000.
