Kamloops RCMP say a police presence on Cornwall Street Tuesday afternoon is connected to the investigation into a weekend shooting in Brocklehurst that left a woman in hospital on life support.
Police were called to a townhouse at 800 Valhalla Drive after a woman in her 30s was shot by someone known to her in what’s believed to be a targeted incident.
Spokesperson Corporal Crystal Evelyn says the woman remains on life support at Royal Inland Hospital.
They’re being told to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-17869.
