Memorial Cup 2023 is about way more than hockey this 11-day event in Kamloops is filled with hockey, entertainment and free, family-friendly events.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
- Event times are subject to change with short notice. Please check the website for the most accurate schedule.
- Bagging policy is in place to ensure a safe environment for the public and to align with industry standards at all venues during the event. Guests are encouraged to leave bags of all types at home. However, the following bags are permitted at events:
- Clutch purse or belt bag no larger than 6.5” x 8.5”
- Clear plastic bag no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”
- Exceptions may be provided for diaper bags and medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag. All bags are subject to search.
- Traffic and parking may be congested, so visitors are encouraged to have patience and look at alternate options to get downtown.
Downtown Parking Lots
- Parkades on Seymour St. (240 Seymour St.) and Lansdowne St. (335 Lansdowne St.) are $1/hour with a $5 maximum for the day, free on weekends and weekdays after 6 p.m.
Park and Ride
- Park and ride from Aberdeen Mall, the North Shore bus exchange, Valleyview Square or at Thompson Rivers University (pay parking in effect).
Free Transit
- This has been approved by the City of Kamloops and BC Transit has been notified. Free transit for:

- HOC staff with accreditation
- Media with accreditation
- Anyone with a current game day ticket.

50/50 Draw. Beginning in 2022, the Canadian Hockey League is continuing its Memorial Cup Legacy Scholarship Program in Kamloops at the 2023 Memorial Cup presented by Kia.
50/50 Proceeds:
- The first $50,000 will be allocated to 10 scholarship recipients over five years in the Kamloops area
- The next $15,000 will be allocated to KidSport
- Any fundraised amount over that will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association, BC Division.
50/50 presented by Extreme Excavating tickets can be purchased HERE starting on April 26, 2023. Draw date is June 5.
