The BC Wildfire Service says the Ross Moore Lake fire near Kamloops is currently under control.
That means the 114 square kilometre fire will not spread any further due to suppression efforts that have taken place over the past two months.
The fire ignited on July 21 and at one point saw as many as 344 properties put on evacuation order.
All evacuation orders were rescinded in early September, while the last of the evacuation alerts were lifted on Sept. 12.
The lightning-caused Ross Moore Lake fire was taken off the list of wildfires of note last Wednesday, Sept. 20.
An area restriction order that prohibits most public access to the area is expected to remain in effect until noon on Oct. 3.
