Health Canada has issued a recall notice for George brand sleepers for babies and infants due to a choking hazard.

The agency says over 216,000 of the sleepers were sold across the country by Walmart Canada between November 2022 and June 2023.

While there have been no reports of injuries or incidents in Canada, Health Canada says the zipper pulls and foot grips, may fall off or be removed through repeated washing – posing choking and ingestion hazards.

The recall is for 0 to 5T sizes for both boys and girls.

Parents are advised to stop using the sleepers and return them to Walmart for a full refund.
