Jordan Keller scored the only goal for the Kamloops Blazers who were beaten 3-1 by the Prince Albert Raiders Tuesday night.
The Blazers allowed goals in each period – Luke Moroz in the first, Eric Johnston in the second, and Sloan Stanick in the third – before Keller gave them something to cheer about.
The Kamloops native’s eighth goal of the year – and third as a Blazer – came in the final 70 seconds of the game at the Art Hauser Centre, ending Max Hildebrand’s shutout attempt in the Raiders goal.

Hildebrand stopped 37 of 38 shots her faced to pick up the win for the Raiders. The Blazers’ Dylan Ernst made 30 saves on 33 shots in a losing effort.
The Blazers have given up 25 goals during the current five game losing streak, with 15 of those goals coming during their current East Division road trip.
With the loss, the Blazers drop to 7-19-3-2 on the season and remain last in the WHL’s Western Conference. The Raiders improve to 17-14-0-2, good for fourth in the WHL’s Eastern Conference.
The Blazers are back in action Wednesday taking on Keller’s former team, the Saskatoon Blades. Former captain Fraser Minten won’t be in the Blades lineup as he is currently at World Junior’s Selection camp in Oakville, Ontario.
Kamloops will close out its five-game road trip in Moose Jaw Friday, with their next game then set for Dec. 27 at Sandman Centre, when they host the Kelowna Rockets.
