Mounties are on the hunt for a wanted 23-year-old man, who is believed to be in Merritt.
Williams Lake RCMP say Sem Weiss, is wanted for a home invasion and stabbing out of Williams Lake, on January 14th, 2024.
Weiss is also wanted on a Canada wide warrant for removal from the country by the Canada Border Services Agency.
Police say they recently learned that Weiss may be in the Merritt, area, although they also say he has ties in Kamloops and the Kelowna area.
“If Weiss is spotted do no approach him but call 911 as he is considered violent and a danger to the public.”
Weiss is described by authorities to be a white man with red hair, green eyes, and a thin build.
