Kamloops RCMP are looking for information and video after a drive-by shooting at a house on the 1200-block of 10th Street just before 6 a.m. Friday morning.

Mounties say a silver older model Volkswagen Jetta was seen leaving the scene, which is just off Halston Avenue on the North Shore.

“The suspect vehicle has since been located a short distance from the shooting scene, on 13th Street however the suspects remain outstanding,” Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet said.

“Thankfully, no was injured but we certainly understand that incidents such as these are concerning to residents and neighbours. While the investigation is in its infancy, this event has all the earmarks of a targeted shooting between parties in conflict.”

Mounties are asking people who live in and around the area of 13th Street and 10th Street to review their video surveillance between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. this morning for the silver Jetta.
