Ashcroft RCMP are looking for information related to a fatal collision on Sunday night near Ashcroft.

Emergency crews responded around 10:15 to a single vehicle collision in the 1900 block of the Trans Canada Highway.

The driver and one of the two passengers succumbed to injuries they’d sustained, and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The second passenger was located outside the vehicle with serious, life threatening injurie and was taken to the area hospital.

Evidence collected so far suggests the vehicle was travelling far above the speed limit when it veered right off the road, striking a culvert and overturning.

The collision remains under investigation.
