Free live music is returning to Riverside Park in 2025.
The City of Kamloops is looking to put together a lineup for this year’s edition of Music in the Park.
The summer tradition has been going for the last 30-years.
“Throughout the months of July and August, residents and tourists have a chance to take in a wide array of musical talents,” said the City in a notification, asking for performers to put forward their applications.
“The performances feature a diverse lineup of artists from Kamloops and across North America, ensuring there’s something for everyone of all ages to enjoy.”
According to the City, they are accepting applications from performers and mobile food vendors:
- Performers: Musicians from across North America are invited to apply to be part of the 2025 lineup. With over 60 nights of live music to program, the City is seeking a variety of acts to create a dynamic and memorable season. Artists passionate about sharing their music with a live audience are encouraged to apply by May 15, 2025.
- Mobile Food Vendors: Local food vendors with an approved business license and mobile vendor status can apply to bring their culinary offerings to the event. This is a great opportunity to showcase unique flavors to a large and diverse audience. Applications are due by April 30, 2025.
Applications are available at Kamloops.ca/MusicInThePark
“Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this extraordinary event,” suggested the City. “Apply now to create the soundtrack of summer in Kamloops.”
“The 2025 season promises to be an unforgettable summer experience celebrating community, culture, and music in Riverside Park.”
