A pair of Kamloops Blazers are in the top 60 of the NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings for the 2025 Draft Class.
Forward Nathan Behm checks in at #44 amongst North American Skaters – indicating a potential 2nd round selection in the June 27-28th event.
Behm dropped 13 spots from his mid-term ranking of 31.
Meanwhile, forward Tommy Lafreniere took one of the biggest jumps from the mid-term rankings.
The Blazer rookie jumped 29 spots to 57th overall amongst North American skaters.
NHL Central Scouting had him pegged 86th in the mid-terms.
Behm put up 66 points in 59 games this season.
His 31 goals tied him for 2nd on the team with Jordan Keller.
Lafreniere was a consistent producer all season and finished the year with 56 points while playing in all 68 games.
Both players are expected to attend the NHL Combine in Buffalo June 1-7.
The Blazers have the longest active streak amongst WHL teams with a player selected in the last 13 NHL Drafts going back to 2012.
Last year, D Harrison Brunicke was the lone Blazer selected at the NHL Draft in Las Vegas.
He went in the 2nd round, 44th overall to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
