Tourism Kamloops is now on the hunt for new executive leadership.
CEO Monica Dickinson has confirmed to Radio NL she submitted her resignation to the Tourism Kamloops board at the end of November.
“I’m looking to resign as of the end of March,” Dickinson said. “I’ve got a few more months left at Tourism Kamloops, and really excited to see what’s to come in those three months.”
Dickinson says the Tourism Kamloops board has now put together a task force to try to fill her role as CEO.
She isn’t willing to tip her hand quite yet as to what her future plans are, but does say she’ll be remaining in Kamloops.
“I won’t get into too many details, cause we’ll save that for a little bit later,” said Dickinson. “But I’m headed into the entrepreneurial space. Going to try my hand at business.”
Dickinson has held the position of Tourism Kamloops CEO since March of 2022 after taking over from Bev DeSantis, but has been with Tourism Kamloops since 2007.
