Kamloops Fire and Rescue made quick work of a structure fire on the North Shore this afternoon, July 24.
Crews were called to the blaze in the 300-block of Birch Ave., just off of the North Thompson River, around 5 p.m., to reports that a garage was fully engulfed in flames.
Smoke was clearly visible from parts of Kamloops for a while, though it has since subsided.
No word on injuries or the extent of the blaze at this point.
