David Williams has been picked as the BC Conservative candidate in the newly redrawn riding of Salmon Arm-Shuswap.
Williams is the first person to be publicly announced as a candidate hoping to take over from incumbent BC United MLA Greg Kyllo will be stepping back.
Williams worked in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) industry before becoming a residential and commercial realtor.
“David’s extensive experience and education led him to roles with the B.C. Assessment Authority and as a regional appraiser with the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Authority,” a biography from the BC Conservatives said.
“Currently, he serves as a Loss Control Specialist/Residential Appraiser in the insurance industry, covering the Shuswap-Okanagan region, which gives him unique insights into the community’s needs.”
The next provincial election is scheduled for Oct. 19, 2024.
