UPDATE – 12:30 p.m. – Kamloops RCMP say Columbia Street is back open to traffic after this morning’s crash.

ORIGINAL – There were no injuries reported after a crash this morning involving a BC Transit bus at Columbia Street and Fourth Avenue this morning.

RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn says two parked vehicles were hit while a utility box was also damaged around 7:23 a.m. She says the westbound lanes of Columbia St. are closed while police investigate.

There’s no word on what caused the crash at this time.
