The Kamloops Blazers will begin the shortened 24-game WHL season against the Vancouver Giants on Friday, March 26 at Sandman Centre.
It is one of two games that will be played on opening night – the Kelowna Rockets will be hosting the Victoria Royals at Prospera Place in the other. The Prince George Cougars first game will be against Kamloops on March 27.
All 60 games in the B.C. Division will be played in the hub cities of Kamloops and Kelowna. Teams will play six games against each opponent.
The Blazers, Giants, and Cougars will be based in Kamloops while the Royals and Rockets will be based in Kelowna. The Blazers will make just six trips to Kelowna to play three games each against Kelowna and Victoria.
The first Kamloops-Kelowna game will at Prospera Place on Tuesday, March 30, while the first game for the two teams at Sandman Centre will be on Wednesday, April 7.
No fans will be allowed into either arena but Radio NL will be broadcasting all home and away Blazers games.
