This morning, a number of reporters descended on an apartment building at 91 West Seymour Street, right across the street from the headquarters of the BC Lottery Corporation.
That is after the entire building had been ordered evacuated on the orders of Kamloops Fire Chief, Ken Uzeloc, with tenants told they would be looked after by the building’s owner.
When NL’s Brett Mineer went to what was formerly a men’s rooming house known as “Weiser House” – he peered over a fence at a stack of garbage on the steps to the Seymour street entrance.
A number of workman were arriving to board up the windows.
Brett was let onto the property by security. Here is what he found.
