RCMP in Merritt are asking for help in finding Ronald Gerald James Karlson who they say is wanted on a B.C. wide warrant.
In a statement, Sgt. Josh Roda says a warrant for Karlson’s arrest was issued yesterday, Nov. 15, because of allegations that he violated his release order. Karlson was last seen in Merritt on Monday, Nov. 14.
Karlson is an Indigenous man, standing five-foot-nine, weighing about 160 pounds. Police say he has black hair, brown eyes, and a crown tattoo on the left side of his neck.
“Mr. Karlson is currently on a conditions, which include not to be within a five kilometer radius of the City of Merritt,” RCMP Const. Jon Puterbough said. “If you see him in our community, please do not approach him and call 911 immediately.”
Mounties also say if you have information about Karlson’s whereabouts, to contact the Merritt RCMP at 250-378-4262.
