The Blazers post-Christmas roll continued on Friday night at the Sandman Center.
Kamloops was able to widen the gap over Prince George in the BC Division with a 4-2 victory.
Daylan Kuefler opened the scoring with about 4 minutes to go in the 1st period on the power play to give the Blazers the 1-0 lead.
Dylan Sydor would add his own marker just over 2 minutes later off a scramble in front of the net to give the Blazers a 2-0 lead heading into the 2nd period.
After Prince George made it 2-1 early in the 2nd, Sydor would put the Blazers up 3-1 on a power play goal 12-minutes into the 3rd period.
The Cougars would make it interesting, off a goal by Cole Dubinksy with 2:23 left in the 3rd.
However, Kyle Masters would salt the game away with an empty netter — his 5th of the season — to give the Blazers the 4-2 victory.
With 1G,1A last night Blazer D @KyleMasters03 moved into 7th in points (33) amongst WHL d-men. His work on the PP is also a big reason it’s a league-best 31%. Also, let’s remember that trade before the season with Red Deer also netted Kam a 1st round pick.

With the victory, Dylan Ernst has now won his last 14 starts — a Blazer record.
The two sides continue the battle on New Year’s Eve in Prince George.
